Evolve Women's League

We are a Markham/ Unionville based women's volleyball league for experienced recreational players. 

2017-2018 Tryouts for all New and Returning Players

Dates:  TBD (end of September- early October)
Time:  6:15-8:00 p.m.
Location:  Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School (large gym, enter via front of school), 90 Bur Oak Avenue, L6C2E6
Recommended Level of Volleyball Experience:  knowledge of how to play systems, particularly 5:1 and 6:2.  You should be able to serve, volley, forearm pass and attack or block competently.    We are often looking to fill setter and middle positions.
Fees:   Approximately $175 for the season (Sept.- May)
What to bring? Please bring a cheque with you to tryouts, you cannot be drafted unless you have paid, no exceptions.  Have a friend who is interested?   New comers are always welcome to tryout!
Can't Make Tryouts?
Unfortunately if you cannot make tryouts you cannot be placed into the draft.  However, as positions become available throughout the season (due to injuries, pregnancy etc.), you may be invited to come and tryout during a regular play date.

League Format:
 We are a draft league which means that players are drafted to a team to ensure balanced teams in terms of skill and player positions.  We play in two sessions, so you will be on two different teams over the course of the season.  Each night you will play against 2 other teams.  At the end of each session we have playoffs and a championship night.
